No Contacts

A Poem by Sincerely Yours
"

The way I see the world without my corrective lenses.

"

Colors bleeding and blending

Putting on a magical show

What their beauty

Holds, I’ll never know

Like a water color painting

Wondrously different and abstract

Not like everything else so

Boring, precise, and exact

Nature abounds with beauty

In my sight

All these colors flowing

To my delight

Only without contacts

Do I experience this I see

I wonder if Monet

Had the same vision as me
