Branches

Branches

A Poem by Oscar

day by day her branches grow
burying deeper and deeper into me
I let her sanctify me as if she is my tree of life
sweet smell of cherry bomb leaves cascading down bursting on my face
her melodic aroma carries me past what is reality and insanity
perpetuating my soul deep within the earth, where she promises me nirvana eternal sunshine
her branches now deep within my veins
where I feel the motion of a thousand oceans running through me
her elegantly perfectly intertwined vines
spread over my body so beautifully
replete of her essence,i carry nothing, but her branches inside of me as I have become her home.

Ethereal and beautiful. A world made of lovers and fantasy. A short read, but it left me wanting more.

Thank you for sharing your talents.
