Fighting Fire

Fighting Fire

A Poem by Miss Kay
"

A song I wrote about a stupid boy :P

"

Burning up, the fires rising up into these flames

Burn the earth, raging up this steam in my face,

Just Moving on, climbing up this hill,

There’s no more time, to make the most of this thrill.

Just one more night, aftermath from the truth

Can’t you care, enough to see, the water’s in me

The Fire’s burning, my hand is hurting, from the inside,

My fingers burn, but I feel alive at the same time,

Just hoping for once, the flames will reach higher,

But pull me out, get me out of this fire

Grab my Hand, take me to see something new

Reaching higher, wondering if you want me to,

Heard those words, fighting my way from the truth

Holding on, the fire inside me’s strong.

The World’s been turning,  Chasing mountains, rising up this fire

To get a hold, of this raging up desire

The ice is melting, my minds unwinding, the air is choking me

I feel I’m flying, I’m scared of trying, my body’s breaken me

Just hoping for once, the flames will reach higher,

But pull me out, get me out of this fire

My hand is hurting, burning me, but slowly, put out the fire, tonight

Words distract me, holding me, we’ll slowly, put out the fire, tonight

The skies are brighter, I’m fighting fire, one more night before

A soldiers hurting, the battles ending, the scars of past wars

Just hoping for once, the flames will reach higher,

But pull me out, get me out of this fire

The oceans crashing, the waves are thrashing,  tired of starting

The burning silence, the waters quiet, the tide is ending

Just hoping for once, the flames will reach higher,

But pull me out, get me out of this fire
