Bleeding Love

Bleeding Love

A Poem by melandra

She's built cold walls of fiction
Around her bleeding heart
Protecting her from an addiction,
That caused her to fall apart,

She tried to hide the memories
Of the feeling she once had
The piercing sound of melodies
Of a girl so lonely and sad

Her tears from a broken heart,
That fall deeply from the sky
Wash away the pain of horror,
That came with hurt and lies,

Finally she shuts the door
That leads to her broken soul,
So none again will hurt her
Nor her feelings once more control
