CELTIC SHIELD

CELTIC SHIELD

A Poem by R J Askew
"

Inspired by one of Celtic Cat's fantastic avatars. Rescued from the ashes.

"

There's beauty in this circulatiry

Curving, curving, curving beauty

Rounding your way through eyes and mind

Rich and warm in your red and gold

Soothing my soul with your sensuous balance

Calming, calming, calming curves

Seeping, deeping, down within

Shielding with your simple shape

Shaping new beauty your turn

Return, return, return to me

With your love, your truth

Your truth love

You are the shape of all my hopes

My curving, curving, curving beauty

Rounding your way through laughter and smiles

Touching me with your timeless perfection

You are the shape of rich inspiration

The loving future of new creation

Stunning write - I am drawn to the Celtic designs as well, in fact all of my jewelry is Celtic as that is my heritage - I wish to study more about the meaning behind the designs some day. I adore how you just let the image's feeling rage out of you in such a beautiful tale. Thank you for sharing.
Light,
Siddartha

A very sensous poem. I love how this 'feels'. It goes straight to my 'gut'. You certainly understand the intention behind the design and that come across so well.
Very magical and, dare I say it, "Goddessy"?

The last three lines made this poem really stand out for me, because they are so true. The Celtic cat is something of 'timeless perfection' and indeed it has touched you with inspiration for here you are haven written this beautiful beautiful tribute. This really is wonderful Orlando and as with all your work so well painted and captivating. You always seem to get my thoughts racing. This really is superb and one of my favourite pieces of your work :-)

There is comfort and security in the known. Patterns. Like English gardens or stone fences. These are the things that link the past and the present--the things that anchor us in our world.

I like this different style, the flow is smooth and feeling. Sensual and honest. Beautiful.
