Etherical Sustainance

Etherical Sustainance

A Poem by Hannah Erickson

Sirens are but a sound effect

An accessory to the soundless mountain air

The river feeds the life here

The people are unnoticibly changed by it

Music is also a source of nourishment

Etherically sustained, we find our way

Chart a new course in a new direction

All for the sake of progression

The wind is lyrical at a frequency

Yet to be heard by the masses

But a few of us hear it

Understand it

Comtemplate its meaning

And submit our own versions of such wisdom

Visual and sonic creations

Appear like color from a prism in light

Invisible from certain angles

But miraculous from others
