Love Becomes YouA Poem by Hannah EricksonWritten for a special someone.Love becomes you. It wraps you in its gentle glow Then the flame grows And gleems from your eyes. Your smile widens and brightens. Written there is a glimmering hope That you are no longer alone In this vast and lonely world And never again will lonliness grip Your strengthened heart's new rhythm. The windows to your soul still glisten Embarrassing a vain and blistered sun In his temporary blue domain. Your newfound light is eternal; Your aura a purer crystalized indigo. It grows with the swell in your heart. Every touch, every kiss, causes it to pulse. You gleefully allow love to consume you And so it becomes you. © 2008 Hannah EricksonReviews
