SometimesA Poem by Hannah EricksonIt's 6:30 and I need to fold clothes, but the bug just bit me...Why do you pretend to be somebody else? You hold your cigarettes just a little differently In front of certain people
I forgot and wore a belt to bed last night Didn't care what anyone else thought of it Doesn't matter to me
I fill my notebooks from the back There's freedom in the quirks of life You'll find that freedom one of these days
And, by the way, sometimes simplicity's better Gotta keep it Shinto I always say Let the light shine in at an awkward angle Let a stanza last too long
Even by one line Gotta read between those sometimes Sometimes...
I get a little tired of excuses I get a little crazy and I like it You just need someone to help you You just need to admit it © 2008 Hannah EricksonReviews
