From the Inside Out

From the Inside Out

A Poem by Dean

Tell me about your dreams, your fantasies…

I wanna know the quickest way I can get to you,

Tell me all about your fears, what sickens you…

This is your night, tonight.

Are you afraid of monsters, blood and death,

Or puppies and getting your neck licked…

Teeth sunk deep within your flesh,

And pain escaping through your lips.

Tell me what you fear, and why you’re terrified,

Please allow me to set up shop in your mind.

With your will or against your wish,

I will intrude and know your secrets.

Save me the trouble, and save me the pain…

It’s time for me to show you the other side…

I’m invincible, I am not seen nor heard,

But I am deadly. From the inside out.
