Poetry War

Poetry War

A Poem by Dean

A couple of lines on a dainty postcard

A poem scribbled as with a left foot…

A rhyme that makes absolutely no sense,

But it rhymes, just because it can, I guess.

A couple of words thrown in sentences

They may make sense and they may not…

You smile at it, without hesitation

And praise the brainless simplicity.

A poem like that can make you smile,

And his poems seem to mean more to you…

I wrote you hundreds of verses and threw them together,

Good poetry, yet you don’t seem to care.

I can sense some anger as
well as sweetness in this
this is very well expressed
