Death Changes a Man

Death Changes a Man

A Chapter by Dean

Don’t know how to put this, but I am not what I seem,

A liar and killer lives within my putrid flesh…

Somehow lost within the time sphere and moments,

I’m afraid you might get the other side of the story.

I have not been kind, have not been gentle,

Sucking them dry was the one true passion I lived for,

And the women were just a joke I played often…

I was not, and am not the best of men.

Meeting her lonesome at the end of the corridor,

Pulling her closer and seducing her,

I am not the gentle one I have been with you

But I am the demon through flesh and blood.

I care for you deeply, my dear butterfly,

An angel from heaven to stop and say hi,

I adore you, love, like my little girl…

I wouldn’t worry if I were you,

I’ll take care of her.

I cannot re-tell you my life again and again,

I love you but I have secrets I cannot share,

I am afraid you might see me for what I am,

But what can I say,

Death changes a man.
