Beach romance

Beach romance

A Chapter by Dean

Midnight romance next to the beach,

Soft blankets, picnic baskets and a bottle of wine,

You cannot deny the beauty tonight

Cloudy sky and the moon piercing through to say hi.

Tan line on your finger, the ring’s M.I.A,

Sitting in a box, kept out of sight in my bedroom.

Stars twinkling silently in the velvet sky,

Your smile, a true delight that warms my soul,

You fit nicely in my arms, my dear angel.

Fighting terribly for a reason to stay,

Soon, you won’t need me anymore,

And then what?

Candle light dancing on the line of passion,

Lay back in my arms and watch the stars with me,

It does not have to be awkward, nor will it be odd…

I understand, my time with you is up.

Another has your heart to hold in a crystal box,

The fragile wonder shall be kept safe.
