Crossroads

Crossroads

A Poem by Ray

I'll wait by the crossroads
Of fate and desire.
The usual place we meet
Lovers that admire.

I'll be taking the freeway
For speed and the thrill.
You can take time to weave through
questions and few hills.

When we get there we'll know well
Which road to go on.
True love will linger,
That perfect moment soon gone.

Before you choose your path
With me remember:
Fate without desire sees no passion;
Desire without fate hears no answer.
