Love for Thought

Love for Thought

A Poem by Ray

Can I love you just for a fleeting thought?
It won't take awhile or a lot.
I start to see you there that you are,
Pass by me with a look shy a stare.

I live with you in bedridden time,
But not with you in place of mind.
What we share is the clock,
But does yours go tick tock?

Memories lose themselves
In this world we feel
But words don't need memories
For they recapture blind stories,

Which is that you are here
Somewhere with me tonight
Feeling somehow about something,
I will never know for I'll cease to care.
