Summer Heat

Summer Heat

A Poem by Stony

Summer Heat

Summer sun brings heat

Grasses and flowers quiver

Begging for the rain

Girls bake in the sun

They want to tan, but they burn

Hot sun brings them pain

Enjoy the sun now

Winter snows are on their way

Then you'll be freezing

So true yesterday I went outside on my porch in my chair and the sun just felt so warm and refreshing. Great piece.
