Remembering

So typical of you

Hannibal 

To say something 

Tender and melancholy 

That leaves me

Wondering

Leaves me 

With a sad smile 

Quizzical about 

How you are

If you're fine

Or if you're hiding 

All the stress 

And cigarettes

Behind white

Empty space 

And 

Behind words

Like lovely
