A poem to my impossible love, my ex, love of my life..Joseph, I will always love you, despite never being able to be with you, and yes, I hate Fortnite now XD

Joseph, 

You are the reason

I am still here

Despite the crushing, bloody

Soul screaming fear

I can't explain....

But you were

God-sent,

An angel,

Who rubs his nose

Imperfect,

And I don't know how

But crazily, 

I fell in love

And you fell in love with me?

Joseph, 

You are the reason 

Every day is easy

Joseph,

You are the reason

Every day is hard

I can't breathe here without you

I can't speak here without you

I must live without you

And never for a moment do I doubt you

And all of our love

That I pause, reflect

What would I have done...

If we had never met....

And I don't understand

And yet I know, have faith

That you will go on,

Grow,

Heal

And satiate

I told you 

"Baby, growing is like a butterfly.." 

And I unclasped my fingers from yours, 

So you could fly

But that doesn't mean

My necklace hangs light between my breasts

 A tear gathers in my eye

For a moment I lose my breath

For you introduced happy

I'd never met him before

And this world isn't dim now

Though your door's far away

I have embraced the embers of joy

Only God could've conjured
