"I Believe"A Poem by krisA sarcastic Denunciation of so called beliefsYou ask me if i'm Democrat, or if i be Republican, I vote for the hopeless myopic utopian, I dont sit on the left or the right, either way, I'm a conservative liberal, i am straight, i am gay. On days i stand for it, and others against it, I try to pretend that i'm full of resentment, I try to be nice, but i'm too anti-social, Some days i stay quiet, some days i am vocal. I believe in a this, I believe in a that, I believe in my dog, I believe in my cat, I believe in my son, the Sun and the Moon, The stars in the sky and the sixth month of June. I believe what i say, I believe what i do, I believe in an Indians right to be Souix, I believe in the Bloods, I believe in the Crips, I believe in the right to have Homo-nership. I believe its O.K. to sunbathe in the nude, I believe in cheap beer, I believe in free food, Dont ask me my views on the war or abortion, But I'll share with you my belief in Contortion. I believe it is normal to call yourself queer, But mostly believe that i'll have some more beer. © 2008 krisReviews
