Covid Affliction.

This world has turned up side down

Ordinary people are now starting to turn

nasty and mean.

People in cars are driving faster and furious

and got no  more patience with fellow human

beings any more.

Customers in food stores and general shops,

losing it with each other.

Because someone had the nerve not

to be wearing a mask in store.

Tempers are boiling over with pent up frustration,

anger and depression.

Slowly simmering to the surface

each and every new day that comes.

Of this new topsy turvy world.

This New Normal since lockdown

and covid.

Has been mentioned and affecting us all in someway

or another.

Quite a few humans have turned to comfort eating, drinking

alchol more and drugs use. Just to fill in the boredom of the

repetition of not feeling in control of life and living it.

Poor children stuck with parents majority of day

and night. Missing their school friends and missing getting

an education to boot.

The new normal. Wearing a face mask and hand sanitizing

stations in and outside stores.

Speaking to your daughter via video call. Making sure you

don't bump into your neighbours incase they affected.

All lots of people losing their income and jobs.

As loads of businesses have closed down and the economy

is down the pan.

God help us all.

gone are the full frontal hug hellos...the shared chant of a enclosed gathering...dancing and sweating with others other then the tight little circle...intimacy is being redefined
