Spooky

The silence is deafening

the stillness of life

of no hustle and bustle

of human activity around us

outside our homes

as we look

out our windows.

But nature is thriving

the birds are singing

and the sun is shining

on a glorious day on earth.

The world has turned its self

up side down.

The creature living in captivity and the one free to roam about have definitely switched their places and though it's beautiful it's still spooky( rightly said in the title)

Hello Dawn. Yes it is so quiet and there is no sign of human movement outside my home. Yet everywhere around nature is certainly thriving. The blossom is bursting, the flowers are blooming and the birds singing their little hearts out. To top it all the sun is making an appearance. A new perspective on life for those who don't notice mother nature. Surely they will see now? Keep well Dawn. I count myself lucky, have always appreciated the natural environment.

It is soooooo strange. I know that there are people out there, but they have all disappeared. I await the magician to wave his wand and have them all reappear, full of life and the joy of being alive. Enjoying the birds singing, the trees budding and the flowers bursting forth all the array of colors.
