C'est la vie

C'est la vie

A Poem by Onlyme

I know Writerscafe
gets a bad wrap at times
on here.

Due to some unpleasant folk
causing strife at times.

But if you weed away
the bad folk.

And hold close
to your heart and soul.

The wonderful and thoughtful
kind and loving poets
and writers on here.

You are blessed with great friendships.

The seeds we sow
can and do harvest
wonderful crops
and amazing blooms
at times.

But sadly you have got to
expect some weeds to pop
up at times too.

because That is life.

C'est la vie

There is always, somewhere, someone who feels they must take it upon themselves to denigrate the work of others. Here it is sooooo easy since for the most part we don't know who it is that is doing the denigrating. Personally, I have always found what you write enjoyable, of course I'm not an expert. I just know what I like. When I write,it's because it is probably because that is the way I felt at the time. If someone else likes it - good. If they don't - too bad.

I think I've found if someone critiques and it isn't constructive I check to see what they have written. Ha!
what an interesting find that often is. Mostly drivel!

For goodness sake don't pay any attention to the nay sayers. You're here for you and those of us who love what you have to say.

Take care - Dave

if we live in the garden, we must concentrate on the beautiful flowers and ignore the weeds...they can only kill you if you let them.
life is moving on and away from those who create the pollution of the blooms.

That is so true Jacob, as the weeds can and do contaminate and destroy the beauty we sometimes forge.. read more
