God bless everyone

Christmas day has come and just gone now.
Lots of people and families are feeling
Happy and very content with the blessing
They receive from loved ones around them.
Like good company a great feed and presents.

Sadly not everyone is fortunate enough
To be able to share in those joys.
Due to being homeless, poor and lonely
To name just a few reasons on this earth
Still happening even on that holy day.

Spare a thought for others who are less
Fortunate that you not just at Christmas time
But the whole year through.

I agree with Chris - for whatever reason I missed this earlier post. With all the joy that we find in our own lives it is so easy to forget the less fortunate.. In the true spirit of Christmas and throughout the year we must be aware of those who are without. God bless you Dawn for reminding all of us.

Missed this one Dawn when you originally posted it, but caught a glimpse of you on the board. Hope you had a good Christmas. You are so right. Christmas day is not a happy occasion for many and we need to remember that. Hope all is good with you and yours. Not seen much of you for a while. All good wishes.
