Wow......

Wow......

A Poem by Onlyme

The sounds of her breathing
touch his heart and soul.
And tears began rolling down his face.
He thought he had lost her forever.

As she started to lose that blue shade from
her skin. And her rosy cheeks came back again
And she too cried.

She was only 18 months old.

And the paramedics came just in time to safe her life.

ps

We take life for granted
but in an instants it can be taken
and gone for good.

Indeed WOW!! So young and so precious to be taken away. I am so glad to read of the wonderful happy ending. We should all thank God for the work of paramedics in our communities.

Exactly Dave, i agree wholeheartedly with you. Dawn.
Truly so beautiful, words that come from the heart. We sure do take it for granted that's why we need to live in every moment.

This one hit me hard, Dawn. I witnessed a similar incident with my son when he was 16 years old. So thankful for the paramedics and doctors who made it possible for him to be with us today. Yes, that's truly a "Wow"... as so succinctly captured in this poem. Sometimes it's the brevity that speaks as much as the words.
