Hold on.....

even as the darkness enfolds you

and wraps it tight strong arms

around you and starts

to suffocate you.

You are not alone.

Listen to your inner voice

and know you are

worth fighting for and living

another day.

You might not think you are worth it.

But I can reassure you are.

You are more than worth it.

Feelings come and feelings go.

Let these overwhelming feelings

pass and know you did the right thing

by staying here on earth.

Yes indeed, we must all remain strong, if for no one else then certainly for ourselves.
I'm reminded of a quote, I don't remember where it came from as bad as things may get,
"Remember, this too shall pass."

The beginning of this poem reminds me of what it feels like to be a victim of a python spirit (a demonic spirit) that works like a python by choking the life out of you. I've struggled with this, and it is absolutely awful. For we war not against flesh and blood but against the principalities of this dark world Ephesians 6:12. There are many things that are playing out in this world, and many people die because of a lack of knowledge of what is happening.
