Is it really worth the risk?

Is it really worth the risk?

A Poem by Onlyme

Out of the town with his mates
Getting drunk in all the local pubs.

Late at night.
F**k it!

let me drive you all home.

I am okay he says.
We will not get caught.

Just around the corner from
his final stop called home.

The blue lights of the police car
come on behind him.
The siren is blasting.

He cop pulls up and stops.
He gets out and
comes to the window
of his car

Instantly smells the strong
odour of whisky
on his breath.

Well in return no matter
what he tried to say.
Even after blowing
into the breathalyse
machine.
He was just wasting his time.

The riot van eventually came
into the back of it
he did go.

His car got put into a police pound
He then ended up losing his car license
for a year. And getting a hefty fine.

Well was it worth it
taking the risk
of driving drunk.

Well no. It cost him
his job as well.
As they found out
and where not happy.

on top of loses I
mentioned above
that happened to him.

So think before you drink and drive.

Is it really worth the risk?

It could have been far much worse
he could have injured,
killed someone or himself.
