Being a cheerful b*****d...NOT

What do we do

when the power cuts come

across this world.

And nothing will work.

From cash machines to get

money and pay your bills.

To your motor car working

and taking you from point

A to B. Since most of the new

cars nowadays have computer chips

in them to run.

To cooking raw meat to be able

to eat it.

To having light and heat

to keep comfortable and warm

in your homes.

The list is endless.

Yes we might end up

having to go back

to the very basics

the way this world is going.

If the nuclear bomb

does come around

due to another war

getting started

because of our great leaders

just can't see eye to eye

on everything as usual.

And, Yes.

I am being sarcastic as

surviving a nuclear bomb

is highly unlikely or not at all.

Once again, I'm with you. Who in their right mind think they could survive a nuclear war? I live with in 50 miles of NYC. I figure if I get enough warning I'd take a nice comfortable chair into my backyard and just wait to be toasted, hopefully while I'm reading a good book. What a morbid S.O.B. I am, sometimes.

Dawn I watched a special on the aussi band midnight oil the other day they were anti nuclear songwriting band started decades ago well worth researching their lyrics songs on you tube they had an acquired taste sound my fav was beds are burning
We are all worried about wars destruction but I’m not going to die worrying about it.
