Embracing The Goodness.

Stepping outside

without my shoes on my feet.

I walk on the grass

in my garden

and feel nature

touch my skin.

I inhale the air around me.

Filling up my lungs.

I look up above me.

And see the white clouds

a mist the blue sky above.

I smile and embrace the goodness

of this glorious day ahead.

A nice poem about being at one with nature. It is short and to the point. The tone is light and makes the poem easy to read in spite of being a free verse poem. I think the words have universal appeal as you are not mixing ethics or sermons with your words about the garden. I enjoyed this poem.
