Pondering on sexual flings & one night stands.

In this modern age

and easy way of sexual

flings and intercourse.

I feel for the younger generation

of casual sex, one night stands.

It just lowers the status of

loving, caring, emotional

commitments to

a loving partner or soul mate.

I know that sounds old fashioned.

But having multipul sexual partners.

Is also dangerous due to sexual

diseases.

I know this is the modern world.

And each to their own.

I get that.

But surely they must miss having

an emotional bond with someone.

At one point or another in their life.

And maybe even regret they

where like that in younger years

when they are old and grey.

I have always been a one bunny... bunny. I must admit to not being very good at the casual sex thing. For one it takes a great deal for me to be attracted to someone in that way. but then once i am the bunny is of a ravenous sort:) I have had conversations with female friends that have told me that they rarely enjoy orgasm and i cant help but think what horrible thing to have sex and not enjoy it and it makes me think that they must be choosing the wrong people and doing it for the wrong reasons. I understand some folks have issues from being molested and or raped and i certainly get that as you probably know. but I have a lot of younger folks that work for me that tell me of there escapades and i just kinda shrug it off but i really just want to shake them and say they call it making love because that's what it is stupid! sex is just sex and will never be more than that. holy smokes you make me ramble sometimes dear Dawn

geez, i remember growing up Catholic and being in the confessional admitting to doing just a little more than kissing...
all of that meant a bit more back then, for sure.

Interesting thoughts Dawn. Maybe some will look back with regret but others will be happy they played the field. The older generation can't apply their standards to the present generation. Times and ideas change over everything.
