Broken World.. Twisted Souls.

Broken World.. Twisted Souls.

A Poem by Onlyme

Hatred breed discontentment,
upset causes sadness
Abuse is an intolerable act.
Towards others and towards yourself
with drink, drugs and sex.

So much pain and broken spirits and souls
in this world.

That needs proper love, affection
and nurturing. More so hope.

Humans making fellow humans
suffer happens every day.
Tragic and sad.
From modern day slaves
wars and famine.
Caused by men in rich suits.

Heartbreaking and devastating.

Love,  not hate
Be kind, not evil
Be friendly, not mean.

Do good, not bad.

i don't know where that love is, Dawn...
it has simply disappeared...and we are modern day slaves to war and hunger and disrespect...
all those find their way into our lives...love could hold them back, if only it would come to our rescue...but it is up to us to bring it back.
really appreciate the theme here.
