We all need each other

Sometimes we all lack

a little confidence

and need a little push.

Towards the right direction

and our goals.

From someone else who cares.

Sometimes we all

just need a cuddle or a warm hug.

Basically, just a show of emotions,

from another soul

to make us feel wanted.

needed and loved.

None of us is an island.

We all need each other

to interact to be needed

and wanted.

Sure we all need moments

and times.

To enjoy spells

of our own company.

But not permanently.

As just like a flower

it needs stimulation,

nutrients and water

to grow.

As does a human being also

from each other, communication,

love and friendship outwith

reproducing of the species

and learning.

You're absolutely right. I've been depressed for a while, so I haven't seen friends for weeks, but they used to be what makes life worth living. Unfortunately, my friends have their own problems too, so I've been solitary. Once my mind and body heal, I'll reach out to them again.

see that is it with depression it pushes you futher away from people, not towards them it plays on your fears, woes and upsets, just even a hello to a friend will help you reach out. honest i do relate suffer from it also. be strong for you, and look futher past the depression to goodness.
