Like Father like son.A Poem by OnlymeHis dad was in the back garden laying some concrete slabs to make a patio area. He had his wellington boots on and working gloves and used a wheelbarrow to help aid the lifting and moving of the heavy slabs into place. His mother was at the backdoor watching them both. Little Jenson was copying what his father was doing. Behind him from a distance. He too had his boots on and tiny gloves. And was also using a toy plastic wheelbarrow to move his pretend blocks and then placing them down in a different area in the garden neatly and nicely. He would stand back to check they look right. With his hands on both hips. And then, odd time he would too wiping bits of sweat from his brow from working too hard. His mother saw this and smiled. And took a picture of both her son and husband when they least expected it. Catching them both doing what they loved together as one. They say the greatest compliment you can get is for someone to emulate you. As her son was doing with his father in their garden.
