Why are Judgemental people so Judgemental?

Thoughts Just floating around in my head.

Why are judgmental people so judgmental?

Is it because they are so superior in their thinking,

that they never make mistakes and are truly perfect in general.

So wise and correct in everything they say or do.

Or just nitpicky people who just like to throw their authority

about the place and put others down.

Just curious.

Or could it be that they grew up with judgmental parents

who gave them a tough time in life.
And feel the need to give others the same as they got in their

own upbringing. To make them feel better.

Some people think they are better than others. I have encountered people like that. Sometimes i think they are just jealous. Sometimes I think they want others to bow down to them. That is funny, I will never do that. God has the final judgment, I don't believe in Karma, I believe every one will be handed their own judgement by the merciful Father above.

not a problem, I too don't understand judgemental people. I try to ignore them and move away from their attitude and negative mindset.

Sounds like you have been the victim of people who are too judgmental. Personally, my own experience has led me to believe that the fault lies within themselves. They are so insecure they can only find solace in finding faults in others. Those that carp the loudest and longest are hurting the worst. Best to do, avoid them as you would a person with a loud, suffering cold. They are sick and wish to pass it along.

as for the parents...as much as we try to be like them, or instead, try not to be...we end up absorbing so many of their traits...it just happens.
