Parenting.

Parenting.

A Poem by Onlyme
"

via good and bad times.

"
It does not take always
  a mother or father
to be a parent
sometimes it can be
due to unfortunate
circumstances
another relative
steps into
the breach
and takes over

and becomes
the parent figure
in that young person life.

And loves them
nurtures them,
Feeds, clothes and
cares for them.

Gives them a roof
over their head,
Comforts them
and puts them
to bed each
and every night.

Giving them security
and undying love.
Takes them to school
keeps them well
and happy also content.
In good time but there
in bad always.

It could be
an older sister
brother, cousin or Uncle.

A carer, foster parent
so many different
types of people can
step into this role
and do a
wonderful reward job.

The main ingredient
are they really love them.
And do their utmost
for that individual all their life.

Even when they
are grow up
and moving on.

With their own family beside

them now.

They still love
and care for them
no matter what.

That is what being a parent is all
about. But more so not
being judgemental and hurtful or unkind
just for the sake of being nasty or
mean. That is cruelity. They listen,
understand and care always. Or at least
they try. As they love you. No one will
agree 24/7 but you can talk and trust them.
With your life. They protect you always.

You certainly perfectly sum up the true meaning of parenthood. It is so important to look after children well and make sure that they look back to childhood days with fond and happy memories.

Well done!
