Moments of TranquilityA Poem by OnlymeSitting on a park bench at early morning light. Everything is still and quiet. As no one is actually around as so soon, After the opening of the big iron gates. That surround this city park. The rustling of the leaves whirling before my feet. Due to the light breeze in the air. Like a mini tornado. I watch them dance before me. I look straight ahead and enjoy the glorious view. Of the valley below me. Sweeping down and beyond the city parks grounds. Further, ahead I see skyscrapers and city life taking place. Back to the present. I enjoy them fresh air and the smell of nature. Hearing birds twitter and the scurring of the odd little creature nearby in the bushes. To where I am resting. I smile to myself. And think. This is so heavenly. Just being at one with nature and oneself.
