People who deserve Praise & Not.

People who deserve Praise & Not.

A Poem by Onlyme

I admire the souls
who are extremely overweight
and lost it all
and gain their self-respect
and life back.

I admire disabled people
who deal with there disabilities
and overcome and have a good life.

I admire the sports people
who dedicate their lives
to their dream sport.
Come good days or bad.

I admire people
who overcome addiction
to crack, heroin and other vile stuff
and live a normal happy life again.

And maintain a good relationship,
job and family.
Let alone be part of society again.

I admire Doctors, Nurses, hospital staff,
who assist in caring for others needs.

I admire the scientists who deliver wonder drugs
and procedures to save lives. And make them
better.

I admire ordinary people who
aid and support
help others.
Who needs a helping hand up.
Asking for nothing in return.

I certainly don't admire
people whose jobs are at
the top of the ladder.
To look after the general
public and fail every time.
As all they do is f**k up big time.
And cause more upset and disharmony
to all. As the only one, they care about
is themselves. Not other, to which is
supposed to be the reason they got
the job. To aid, help others who need it.

This is a lovely poem of admiration for the many disadvantaged who just rise above it all. They never cease to inspire me. How right you are about the other side of the coin. Don't mention self serving politician's who don't do the job they were elected to do. Hope you and your nan are OK Dawn. Have a good Sunday. ((.))
