Value Life...Even when it breaks You.

The fragility of the human being

is just a beating heart away

from existence.

One minute we can be here.

Breathing and alive.

To then next gone for good.

As once the last breath

has been drawn.

We are no more.

Into the ether

like a cloudless vapour

transcending into everything

odorless and colourless

invisible to the human eye.

Yet touches and leaves a

print. Of who we where

spiritual wise as in our

essence on earth.

God gave us life.

And god taketh

But he also leaves

us memories,

moments, gifts

and reminders of

loved ones gone

but never forgotten.

We have to hold onto

hope, faith, love and

each new day.

Like as though tomorrow

never cometh.

And live for now.

And cherish everything

more so. Value life and

living. Even those times.

it's even hard to deal with.

I know that was is very hard

to do believe me.

But its worth it long run.

As you are breathing.

And above ground not under.

Chris - you are so, so right. We all must cherish life and those that live it with us. I just turned 78 and though I have a few aches and pains they are nothing compared to what I've seen others endure. Each day I thank God for the beautiful day I'm going to be able to enjoy. To have and share love with the woman I can only begin to show my appreciation to.
It is so good to be reminded as you said to cherish everything and to value life.

I totally agree with you..Value life even when there are many difficulties in your life..I know that living life is the toughest thing to do but that is how it is..Life is never a bed of roses , there will be difficulties , you will have to face them..Its like day and night..There will be those dark , scary nights in your life but they will pass to bring a day..You know I feel that facing difficulties is better than to die because at least you are breathing , you are full of life ..I know that life might seem like a burden which you have to carry unneccessarily sometimes but you have no other option to do .. It is the way it is..Powerful poem with a strong message..
