Cuddles and kiss

in front of an

open log fire.

In the living room

of our cute

cabin in the woods.

The dogs are snuggled up in

their dog baskets

on the shag pile carpet on the floor.

As the cat is tucked in beside

one of the dogs cuddling her.

I and my hubby are on the sofa

with a blanket. spooning.

I in front and him tucked in behind me.

He kisses my cheek and wraps his

strong around me and holds me

close.

The lights are off and the glow from

the fireplace.  Luminate the night.

And we are all happy, content and

feeling loved.

As the clock ticks past. 12 Midnight is

stuck and it's a New Year.
