Sights & Sounds Of Nature.

Sights & Sounds Of Nature.

A Poem by Onlyme

Moonbeams and shoot stars
illuminating the midnight sky.

An owl and a bat are spotted
nearby both on a large oak tree.

A rabbit scurries into some bushes.
As I move closer to see these creatures.

I smile.

And ponder to myself.
Nighttime is as a magic place.

Once the curtain falls
And the stillness of tranquillity
and the calmness falls into place
for this special phase.

I carry on walking around
the countryside in the heart of
England Uk.

And hear the owl hoot.
And some birds twitter to
keep him company.

A field mouse. I spot with
my torch cleaning himself.
Sitting on a large boulder
to my left.

When the light from my
torch casts upon him.
He squeaks and carrys on
cleaning behind his ears.
And that made me chuckle
out loud.

I then hear a cricket chirp
close by and turn and catch
him with my eyes.

Then he gone ...Quick as a flash.

Oh how I love nature and
being outdoors!

So very true Ron. Nicely said.
A wonderful poem shared dear Dawn. Here in Michigan. Birds went to Florida and free-animals sleeping. Maybe I need to go with the birds to Florida. I love nature too. Michigan Winter. Only deer, wolves and coyotes are roaming. Thank you Dawn for sharing the amazing poetry.
