Bah humbug....

It's the time of caring and sharing and showing

love towards others in this world. Outwith your

only family members of course. Well, that is part

of the reason.

But hypocritically its all bullshit. 

And just a commercial thing.

Christmas and the true meaning of it.

Is nothing like it was. When I was 

a child.

It's just another reason to spend money.

Buy expensive gifts. And glot and show off.

As also, look at what I got for Christmas?

most kids will be saying to their mates?

I really pity this new world. 

I believe in care and sharing and love

and true friendship. Throughout the

year not just when it's Christmas.

It's like all the new baby puppies and kittens

that will be used as presents this year. 

And then when the notion has worn off. In

the new year. 

The little souls will be back in some cat or dog shelter.

I bet if you asked children what Christmas was really

all about they would have no idea, just it was for presents?

Bah humbug!

It's supposed to be about the birth of Jesus Christ on 

Christmas Day. But how many actually realize that and

understand the true emphasis of it all.

And that is so sad.

I agree dear Dawn. But we must teach the children the reason for Christmas. I try. Hard to find Jesus in the mist of sales and the stores. Children will listen if we tell. Always a pleasure to read your words and thoughts dear friend.
