self doubt

Self doubt can eat you up

and spit you out whole.

Self doubt can take any or all

your self-worth and love.

You did have for yourself

before it came knocking at

your minds door.

Self doubt makes you weak,

timid and sad.

It controls your thoughts and

thinking by dominating it,

and controlling.

It turns you,  against you.

Using your own mind.

It's a traitor and a lier

manipulator.

Fooling you into

believing all.

Self doubt as an arch rival or antagonistic force, nicely done. You have done a great job of describing what that dark inner force can do to weaken and destroy, and ultimately to deceive. Nicely stated.
