This feels raw and honest which I think is the way to address poetry and God. Even though questions like this have been asked, this poem fully faces and addresses these questions and those feelings clearly and I think that can be helpful to a lot of people, and I hope writing it was also an outlet for you.
Oh how I wait on that day when the perishable put on the imperishable, death is swallowed up in victory, and darkness is swept away from this earth by the light of Jesus Christ.
Such a touching plea for divine guidance or intervention, one flavoured with the pain of living and the pain of disappointment, but a plea that ends with a desire to still believe in hope through a desperate enactment of faith.
I can share in your suffering and even the doubt, but speaking as such, I will remain faithful. The Bible's testimonies and truths help me in these times. The Bible teaches us through the testimonies of countless individuals that even though the world, as we know it, may crumble to bits, a much greater plan is carried out by His people. For me, in these times, I have to get to the simplicity of reliance upon God regardless of what it looks like to me and believing that these storms are going to wash me clean and not drown my faith. I have to tame my wandering mind and return to my first love. I'm going through a real hard time and had to share that.

Amen to your prayer dear Dawn. Eloquent, moving and pleading words that emanate from a many times broken heart. You are exhausted my friend. You have paid dues you never owed. God does hear you and I know He will help you and your husband. Whatever you have to do and go through, He will help you. Rest your head and close your eyes and He will carry you. I’m praying for you too. Co
Dear Dawn, I know I have neither experience nor wisdom to answer your questions... still I feel your pain and helplessness to some degree. God is in you dear, and hears you as well. He knows you are doing your best to cope with life. Keep your faith, you will find the strength to get through.

Wish I could get it back. It helped to a degree. Now. I feel numb and lost and just lonely and confused with everything, his cancer, me trying to help him. Getting no where with hospital and treatment of late. And going around in circles. And with Xmas. Things are closing for the season .
