Cupids Arrows can Hurt.

They say love is wonderful

kind, caring and compassionate.

Alas cupids arrows can hurt

sting and make you weep too.

Love is great when all is going super

and pleasing for both parties involved.

But when love hits rocks and bumps

on that road called life.

A reality check is called for.

As loving, someone can get you

emotions abused your body used.

And also get you involved in many

corrupt or wrongful deed.

Like being a drug mule, a hooker,

scapegoat for their own woes

to batter and beat you to get them

own problems out on someone else,

ie you.

Mentally abused.

Let alone sexually assulted.

And so many other scenarios.

So don't think love is all picket white

fences and roses and all things nice.

So be careful who you fall in love with?

I agree with this 100% we should be careful of who we fall in love with. This once was me.... Except a sicko fell in love with me and threatened me into a stupid fucked up relationship. Sigh. It friggin hurts yeah. And im surprised i fell in love again, im the run away free spirit type.... Anyway, i like this poem incredibly much.
