Not A Merry Xmas For All....

Not A Merry Xmas For All....

A Story by Onlyme

Not everyone will be enjoying a tinseled
tree Christmas fun filled  decorated
time this season.

As a lot of people, are living below the breadline,
and can't even afford to feed their family on a
daily bases. Let alone provide a Turkey and
all the trims, for Christmas Day.

As well as, a lot of people are even homeless,
and on the streets or sofa surfing here and their
at mates or fellow collagues  just to get some
sleep and to keep clean up in general at times.
As nowhere else to go.

Or even in another part of the world. Where they
have nothing at all. Due to war, famine, the greed of
their own countries politicians. They live had to mouth,
and in a shack.

So many scenarios where people are just not as fortunate
as you or I.

So as you tuck into your Special Dinner at Christmas, and raise
a glass or two. With family and friends. Spare a thought for
others who are not exactly having a great time. Or even getting
any gifts at that at all.

If you dare. To thinking of others at all. Outwith your own
friends or family. That is.

Such a powerful reflection on the many others that go without when so many celebrate with excess or plenty. A wonderful reminder to think beyond personal shores to include those treading water in the vast ocean of the underprivileged. Thanks for letting me read this as a timely reminder.

All the best,

Lanny
