Time passes so quickly

Time passes so quickly

A Poem by Onlyme

Time passes so quickly,
you don't realize how fast.

You think it drags and never
move as quickly,
as you wish
or want it too.

When you're a child you
wish to be older, stronger
and wiser.

When you're a teenager
you want to be older again.
To drink alcohol, drive a car.
Go to Uni or have a job.

When you're a young adult.
say in your twenties.
You want to be in a loving
relationship or either married
or maybe have kids. Like your
friends. As your the odd one
out.

When you're in your thirties and
fourteen you are more settled
with house, family and home.
Even the grandkids are a pure
joy.

The fifties and sixties
and as the years pass.
You're accepting the
days and the passing years.
Maturer and a lot wiser.
More understanding and accepting what
life throws your way.
