Christmas Cheer & Opening Of Heart, Mind & Your Soul

Christmas Cheer & Opening Of Heart, Mind & Your Soul

A Poem by Onlyme

It's the time of year
for merriment and cheer
goodwill towards others
to show you care.
Towards family and friends,
love ones and those who
hold a special place in
your heart and soul.
Even little tokens of love
left at the graveyard for
ones who are departed
but never far from your
thoughts.
Hold close memories
great times and loved ones.
Not just at the times of the
year but all the year through.
Don't look back in anger,
reminisce with an open heart,
smile and feel blessed you
had those close in your heart.
These times are for enjoyment
and golden reminders of sharing
and caring. Loving and blessed.
Also to think of others.
Who is not luck as you. Reach
even and show you really care.
Open your heart and soul.
And give a bit of spirit towards
others we need a lift up.
And not a put down like they
get all year through.
