A Lonely Soul.

A lonely soul

cannot protect themselves

totally from the outside

world.

They believe they can.

By isolating themselves

from the hurt, pain and

the outright chaos of

mixing with

others and life in general.

By drawing away from life

completely if they could.

All you end of doing it

living in a fake unrealistic

world of loneliness and not

developing as a human fully

for yourself.

Believe me, I have been and done

that and still to a strong degree

am still there at times.

We think we can protect ourselves

better by being on our own.

And that no one, can affect us at all.

But they do still. As we still at times

crave company, compassion, empathy,

love, understanding and so forth.

Don't get me wrong it's good to have

quality time for yourself. But we as

humans need bonds with other humans

and to communicate and evolve and

develop.

We have to reach out and move forwards

and mix to help ourselves and others to grow

and learn.

I know, you do get,  the odd human being

on this planet who are happy long term

living as a hermit. But eventually, over

years, they come back to the fold of

wanting to be with others again.

Even if only for a short spell at a time.

As the loneliness is overpowering and eats

away at the spirit and the soul.

We all need a friend, a lover a soulmate

and a buddy just to chat with at times.

Even though we are our own human being

in general.

It's just finding that happy balances of

enjoying others and your own time as well.

To grow as a human and be happy. Let alone

content with your lot.
