Family time was dinner time...

How sad it's to see family life is crumbling under

modern times and quick fast food. To where no

one wants to eat together anymore in the home.

Unless it's sitting around a pizza or a curry from the fast food shop.

 Or else everyone is doing their

own thing. Eating different convenient foods as the quick

and easy and simple to do. No effort is needed for the task.

So no family time to converse, meet, spent time together.

Unless it's watching television or a movie. With a cup of tea

and popcorn or candy at hand.

I guess I am saying. How sad times have

changed where I actually miss

family times. Around the table.

Eating, chatting and sharing.

I guess that is why

Christmas Time around the

table is a big thing

for now at least.

In most homes.

Until that tradition changes!

I miss the days of a family meal daily. You are right. Fast pace world. Family meals are becoming rare. I watch movies and eat popcorn with grandchildren. Make homemade pizza. If we want. We can keep the good things alive for our kids. Always a pleasure to read your words and thoughts.

We now have ferry rides and long distances to complicate visits which are petering out even over xmas
