Everything is relative.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

The rich, the poor

The happy, the sad.

The haves, and have-nots

in this world

The Jing and Jang of life.

There is always an opposite to

whatever you think or see

or understand.

Let alone feel.

It's  like in our poems and stories

we share online.

Everything has a meaning.

And a cause and effect.

That is the way the world turns.

We share our experiences, our tales

or woes, our life and make-believe.

Let alone our worse feels coming true.

Good job, Dawn. This is a gem of rare, amusing sensitivity. You prove once again that deep concepts can come in simple language. The length is appropriate, the imagery conversational and universal. I might have called it "Getting the Jang of It," but I wouldn't challenge your choice. If I could peek inside your mind, what would I notice first? It could be neat and orderly hints of focus in proper Dewey Decimal order, or hints like might be found in a happy child's playroom on a rainy Saturday morning. Don't answer that, I might be envious.

You are right about that. We do share in our poetry all facets of our lives. But whether other's find the meaning is another story. I really enjoyed this.
