If Heaven ruled on Earth?

If heaven was here on earth,

would it be a better place

in general?

Or would nothing change?

Would illnesses, famine, greed

and upsets. Let alone evil

still dwell in humans hearts

and souls.

Do we really understand heaven

and it's intentions and interpretations

we are lead to believe in from the holy books.

That everything is perfect, bliss-filled and

euphoric.

Or are we just kidding ourselves on?

And being lead to perceive all is at peace

up there when you pass away.

I have no answers but I just wonder at

times.  Would it be any better if heaven

ruled on earth?

I guess this is all nonsense and just thinking

out loud.

I think that heaven can be here for those with a frame of mind that allows it, and I don't expect it would be much different in the afterlife if we can't seem to enjoy the little pieces of heaven we experience everyday here. I could be way wrong and many will say I am, but this miracle that we call living, is as spectacular in its joy and pain as I could ever imagine. Great thought provoking read today Dawn...thank you!

Again - we must hope and I daresay pray, that things are so much better in heaven than here. It would be the greatest hoax of all time if it were not. Then again, we wouldn't know until - well it's too late.

I agree totally with you Wyrn, you have to put things perspective and the bigger picture sometimes give you a better understanding and makes you feel better as well.
