Obliteration By Mankind

Obliteration By Mankind

A Poem by Onlyme

The cold light of day.
When we are all gone.

And nothing is alive on
this beautiful planet
no more.

No plants, trees, humans,
fish, mammals. Nothing
Everything went for good.
Just radiation, dust and dirt.
And bones and skulls in the rumble.

Everything has been destroyed
by man. And what he has created
the future is getting closer to that
inevitable day of self-destructing.

And hopefully, I will be long gone.
Died in the air amongst the trees
and flowers and planet. Before that
evil day does come.

I pray that we as humans.

Actually, wake up and smell the roses
and see the destruction and evilness
we cause to this planet.  Before it
is far too late. And we are all gone.

And just a distant memory of mankind
and this amazing planet called Earth.

Native American's saying. When the bear and the wolf is gone. Men will follow.
"And hopefully, I will be long gone.
Died in the air amongst the trees
and flowers and planet. Before that
evil day does come."
If we don't change. We will leave little for the next generation. Thank you Dawn for sharing the amazing poetry.
